How to Use Turtle Age Calculator

In the input method section, you will see two options:

By Hatch Date
By Manual Age

If you know your turtle’s hatch date, select By Hatch Date. Then go to the Turtle Details section and click on Turtle Hatch Date.

Select the date by choosing:

Year
Month
Date

If you do not know the hatch date, choose By Manual Age.

In the Turtle Details section, enter your turtle’s age in years and months.

For example, if your turtle is 5 years and 6 months old:

Years → 5
Months → 6

You can also enter your turtle’s name in the Turtle Name field if you want. If not, you can leave it empty.

There is also a Tank option. You can fill it in or skip it depending on your preference.

After entering the details, click "Calculate Turtle Age".

Once calculated, you will see your turtle’s profile and information such as:

Turtles Grow Up Slowly

Unlike dogs or cats that become adults quickly, turtles take many years to grow up.

Water turtles (like sliders) may become adults at about 5 years old.
Giant tortoises grow even more slowly and may not become fully grown until they are 15 to 20 years old.
